8. Sending emails

Brevo

We send the emails generated by this website via the Brevo service. These include the confirmation of receipt for your enquiry and the notifications to us about new enquiries and messages from the contact form. The provider is Brevo GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany.

In doing so, Brevo processes the content of the respective email, i.e. your name, your email address and the details from your enquiry or message, as well as technical delivery data such as time of sending and delivery status. According to Brevo, this data is stored exclusively on servers in the European Union.

Brevo can record whether an email is opened and whether a link in it is clicked. For the emails sent by this website, this recording is anonymised: opens and clicks are only counted and are not attributed to any recipient.

Where the emails serve to process your enquiry, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Otherwise, it is based on our legitimate interest in reliable email delivery (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for these purposes and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Data processing

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Brevo. It ensures that Brevo processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
