How your enquiry works
Our catalogue is aimed exclusively at business customers. You do not buy anything through the website; instead you send us a non-binding enquiry – about a single item or several at once. No costs arise and no contract is concluded. We send you a quotation, and you decide in your own time.
Four steps to your quotation
- Put your items together. Add the items you need to your enquiry list, in the quantity you need.
- Send your enquiry. Enter your company and contact details, choose delivery or collection, and tell us anything we should know. You will receive an acknowledgement by email straight away.
- We get back to you. We check availability, condition, delivery and price, settle any questions by phone and send you a quotation.
- You decide. An order only comes about once you accept our quotation. We then arrange delivery or collection with you.
Prices
Prices in the catalogue include statutory German VAT; the net amount is shown alongside. They are for guidance. The price in our quotation is binding.
Delivery and collection
We ship storage equipment by freight forwarder – racking, shelving and pallet racking are too bulky and heavy for parcel services. We will state the exact shipping costs in our quotation. For guidance:

Amounts include statutory German VAT. The minimum charge applies if the percentage is lower.
Kerbside delivery: Unless agreed otherwise, the freight forwarder brings the goods to the public kerb nearest to your delivery address and unloads them. Onward transport onto the premises or into the building is not included. The delivery address must be accessible by lorry, and someone must be on site at the agreed time. We deliver within Germany only.
Collection: LHS Lagertechnik Handel Service Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH, Industriestr. 9, 41564 Kaarst, Germany. Our warehouse is staffed Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 12:30 and from 13:15 to 16:30. Please arrange the date with us in advance – we will tell you which vehicle you need and how much time to allow. Please bring sufficient load securing equipment.
Delivery time
For guidance: for collection we usually have the goods ready within 3 to 5 working days; delivery by freight forwarder takes 1 to 14 working days, depending on the installation and dismantling work. We will give you the binding date in our quotation. If it is urgent, please give us a call.
Payment
You pay nothing for your enquiry. The payment terms are set out in our quotation. Goods are delivered or made ready for collection once payment has been received; if you collect from our warehouse, you can pay in cash on site.
